R Nation Baseball Club is an independent club and fiercely holds to an independent spirit. Our mission, and promise to you, is to provide all players the best baseball coaches, resources, environment, and experience that nurtures the very best in all players and ultimately helps reach their goals of playing at the next level, be that high school, college and professional baseball. While developing the very best baseball players is our mission, we are equally dedicated to the development of all our players into positive young men and productive citizens. We do this by setting high expectations, helping players set and achieve personal goals, providing a positive learning environment and experiences that instills a sense of personal well being.

R Nation Baseball Club is home for the Texas Raiders select baseball teams and the Prospects High School spring baseball teams. R Nation Academy is the clubs private/membership training facility.


Coach Bond is a graduate of Troy State University where he was a left handed pitcher for the 1986 and 1987 Division II National Championship baseball teams. He was a 5th round draft pick of the San Diego Padres in 1987 and played 3 seasons in the Padres minor league system. He has been involved with youth baseball for the past 15 years including coaching and individual instruction.

Coach Cody, originally from The Colony, TX, played 4 years at The Colony HS under Coach Martin Dean and was a three year letter recipient. After high school Coach Cody played initially at Lon Morris College under Chase Tidwell, then at Arlington Baptist College under Barrett Weaver. Coach Cody now focuses on coaching and studying the game of baseball. His true passion is helping young men, using his personal experiences, reach their fullest potential as players and citizens.

Coach Fasone, originally from Aurora, Colorado, was a three year starter at the University of Dallas. Over the past several years Coach Fasone has coached with top organizations in both CO and TX working with players of all ages. This coming year he will continue his coaching career as a Volunteer Assistant Coach at UD. He is a student of the game and enjoys expanding his knowledge in every aspect. With an educational background directed toward teaching, Coach Fasone is passionate about sharing his knowledge of the game with all players he works with.

Coach Gonzalez, “Coach G”, has coached youth baseball for 20 years and is certified by the American Coaching Academy. In 2013 he co-founded the R Nation Baseball Club and Texas Raiders. Coach G’s philosophy is simple, coaches have the responsibility to the development of a players baseball skills, and the development of responsible and productive young citizens. Baseball gives Coach G the forum for teaching and learning.

Coach Ryan played high school baseball at Centennial HS (Frisco) and was on varsity 3 of my 4 years. He played on multiple travel/select baseball clubs having played in tournaments nationwide. Coach Ryan played college ball at Cisco Junior College. During college and since graduating he has coached many summer and fall baseball teams. Coach Ryan’s coaching philosophy goes, “I am a firm believer in the phrase, “do your job”. Baseball is just as much of a team sport as any other sport and as long as the TEAM is playing together as one UNIT, anything is possible.”

Coach Austin was an All-District pitcher for Frisco HS (Frisco) and played for a number of well known club baseball organizations in North Texas. He was recruited and pitched for Dallas Baptist University. Coach Austin has dedicated himself to coaching the past several years. He began coaching as a volunteer pitching coach for the Texas Bombers. In 2015 he joined the Texas Raiders as Head Coach for the then Texas Raiders 16U team. He also coaches R Nation’s Prospects HS program. In addition to coaching responsibilities Coach Austin is the Manager of Baseball Operations/Programs for the R Nation Baseball Club organization.

Coach Brian graduated from Prosper High School in 2008 and was named 3A First-Team All-State. Brian was a student-athlete at Paris Junior College, transferred to the University of Nebraska, and finished at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Brian excelled both academically and as a student-athlete. Following college he spent three years in the independent leagues playing for the Lincoln Saltdog’s, Amarillo Sox, San Angelo Colts, and the Windy City Thunderbolts. In addition to his head coaching responsibilities he is an instructor and recruiter for the Luce Prospect Group.
